Citrus announces Executive Chef David Gilbert

Chef David Gilbert, a “Rising Star,” has been named the new executive chef at Citrus Restaurant and will be responsible for all culinary operations.

Chef Gilbert is a culinary talent with global experience including a tenure at the Michelin-starred Restaurant Vermeer in Amsterdam and the kitchens of the The Ritz-Carlton in Bulkhead, Atlanta, and the The Ritz-Carlton in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

In the great state of Texas, Gilbert delighted diners at Luqa in Dallas, and at Sustenio in San Antonio. For his work at Sustenio, Gilbert was recognized by the James Beard Foundation. Most recently, Gilbert pursued his passion of Southeast Asian cookery, opening Tuk Tuk Taproom.

Gilbertwill usher in a new restaurant concept and menu at Citrus in the upcoming weeks.
